Acoustic Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Acoustic Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct acoustic testing and analysis of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Perform noise detection, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate abnormal sound issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Design and implement noise reduction and vibration control strategies.
• Optimize key acoustic parameters for new product development.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to refine and integrate acoustic designs.
• Conduct acoustic measurements and validation for product prototypes.
• Document analysis data, test results, and conclusions for acoustics-related research and development.
• Coordinate with component suppliers and manufacturers to confirm acoustic design recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Undertake additional duties assigned by management as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in acoustics or noise control.
• Strong understanding of electronics, mechanical structures, and acoustic principles.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling concepts; experience with CAD software (e.g., CREO) is an advantage.
• Ability to work on weekends and travel internationally based on project requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 6,500 +VB (1 - 2 Months)
• Working Location: Pasir Panjang
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
