Job Description - Advanced NAND Process Integration Group Lead

About the Role: Join Micron Technology Inc. as the Advanced NAND Process Integration Group Lead within the Technology Development Group. You will spearhead a team dedicated to advancing the NAND technology roadmap. Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to evaluate new architectures, devices, technologies, and materials, shaping the future of NAND technology for the next five years and beyond.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Innovation: Foster creativity and innovation to achieve best-in-class NAND technology.

  • Global Collaboration: Work with the global NAND pathfinding team across the US, Italy, Japan, and lead project execution at the Singapore site.

  • Team Development: Cultivate a highly skilled team with deep expertise in NAND architecture, layout, device, module integration, and semiconductor processing fundamentals.

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the integration of advanced 3D NAND technology and develop a strategic roadmap.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and address critical technology gaps with cross-functional teams.

  • Performance Management: Manage team performance, provide constructive feedback, and coach team members for professional growth.

  • Communication: Regularly update senior management on project status.

  • Technical Innovation: Promote technical innovation through process improvements, patent generation, and technical publications.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational and Technical Skills: Strong organizational and technical skills with a proven track record in fast-paced environments.

  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of NAND architecture, layout, integration flow, and the interaction of process, device, yield, and reliability issues.

  • Strategic Thinking: Experience in strategic direction and creative problem-solving.

  • Leadership: Ability to simplify complex problems and provide clear direction.

  • Culture of Excellence: Skilled in fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

  • Team Building: Collaborative team builder with effective team dynamics.

  • Growth Mindset: Ability to solicit feedback, accept input, and improve team effectiveness.

  • Solution-Oriented: Capable of deriving positive solutions from diverse ideas.

Education and Experience level:

  • MS or PhD (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor technology development and engineering management
