AI/Technology Specialist

About the Role

You will be part of the TMT Due Diligenceteam, contributing to advisory work across the region and globally. Hardiman isa boutique TMT consultancy specialising in M&A advisory, strategydevelopment, and commercial/technical due diligence for clients includingtelecom operators, private equity investors, debt providers, and corporatefinancial advisors, with active engagements across Western Europe,Central/Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. We’relooking for a tech-savvy professional with strong AI fluency and coding skillsto join our team. No telecom industry experience is required – we are prioritisingtechnical aptitude and adaptability over sector-specific background.Familiarity with finance-related tools, data, or workflows is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

●     Evaluate, implement, and optimiseAI tools and workflows to support business operations

●     Write and maintain scripts/code tosupport automation, data processing, or integrations

●     Collaborate across teams toidentify opportunities where AI/automation can improve efficiency

●     Stay current on emerging AItechnologies and assess their practical applications for the business

●     Translate technical concepts intoclear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

●     Support data-drivendecision-making, with an emphasis on finance-adjacent use cases where relevant

What We’re Looking For

●     Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field

●     Proficiency in at least oneprogramming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)

●     Strong working knowledge of AItools, platforms, and concepts (e.g., LLMs, automation tools, promptengineering)

●     Comfortable learning new systemsand technologies quickly

●     Analytical mindset with goodproblem-solving skills

●     Exposure to finance, accounting,or financial data tools is a plus (not required)

●     No telecom industry backgroundneeded – we’ll provide the domain context

Nice to Have

●     Experience building or integratingwith APIs

●     Familiarity with data analysis orfinancial modeling tools

●     Curiosity about applying AI intraditionally non-technical business functions
