Howden is a specialist commercial insurance broker. Its regional footprint covers Singapore (regional headquarters), Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines. It is part of the London-headquartered Howden Broking Group, a leading independent, global broker with offices in over 30 countries worldwide.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Independently prepare, check and submit claim forms and related documentation to Insurers

· Register and update claims status on internal system

· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policy and guidelines

· Follow-up with clients/Insurers/Loss Adjusters/TPA to ensure that claims are resolved promptly

· Monitor claims until file closure

· Provide guidance to junior staff

· Prepare claims statistics

· Ad hoc activities

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

· Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in handling General Insurance (Work Injury, Travel and Accident) and Medical Claims

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Able to work independently as well as within a team

· Good interpersonal skills – able to communicate well across organisational levels

· Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) required.
