Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct market, sector, and company research, including understanding industry dynamics, key players, and sector strategies.
• Support and manage due diligence by gathering data, identifying risks, and summarizing findings.
• Analyse key financial metrics and drivers affecting deals and portfolio companies.
• Assist in preparation of document on key legal and structuring terms.
• Collaborate with senior team members and legal advisors to ensure compliance and alignment with objectives.
• Support investment execution, approval processes, monitoring, and value creation initiatives.
• Support in sourcing, screening, and analysing new investment opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, advisors, and partners
• Manage projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• A professional qualification, such as CFA and/or a postgraduate qualification, such as MBA, would be highly regarded.
• Highly numerate with knowledge of financial analysis and valuation methodologies
• Experience in due diligence from a financial, accounting, or operational perspective
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, and project management skills
• Inquisitive, resourceful, meticulous, responsible, and self-motivated
• A self-starter who can work effectively in a dynamic corporate environment
• A team player who is also able to work independently
