Analyst/Associate (Non-Bank Financial Institutions Coverage,Singapore)

Overview of Division/Department

You will be joining a high-performing Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage team at Mizuho covering leading Institutional Investors, Private and Public Funds, Securities Companies, Sovereigns and other NBFIs. This Singapore-based Analyst/Associate role offers direct exposure to Senior Relationship managers, cross-border transactions, and regional client strategy. You will sit within the Singapore Financial Institutions Coverage team and be part of the broader Asia-Pacific Financial Institutions Coverage platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Section Head and Relationship Managers in originating and executing business with Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) in Singapore.
• Prepare proposals, client analysis, profitability reviews and internal approvals.
• Manage onboarding, KYC/AML and account documentation with strong attention to regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with product partners (Global Markets, Transaction Banking, Capital Markets, Structured Financing etc.) to deliver holistic solutions.
• Conduct industry research, client analysis and market monitoring to support strategic client initiatives.
• Work closely with middle/back offices and other business partners to ensure seamless execution and documentation integrity.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent in a similar field.
• 2-5 years of working experience in a front-office role with a global bank or comparable experience.
• Exposure to Bank and/or NBFI clients preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and credit skills.
• High attention to detail and strong execution discipline.
• Confident communicator with solid stakeholder management skills.
• Self-driven, commercially minded team player with a passion to develop and expand business.
