APAC Desktop Support Engineer (1-Year Contract, Trading)

What You'll Do

• Provide first and second line helpdesk support onsite to users in Singapore and Hong Kong, assisting them with hardware and software issues through MS Teams, phone, Slack, email, and an Incident Management ticketing system.
• Assist with deployment of new PCs and laptops, ensuring all devices are set up correctly for end users
• Oversee upgrades and rollouts of software across the organisation's desktop environment, maintaining up-to-d.ate systems for optimal performance.
• Manage Microsoft Office 365 tenant settings to support productivity tools used by employees.
• Support video conferencing systems both remotely and onsite to facilitate effective communication between teams.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries by adhering strictly to service management principles.
• Proactively take ownership when dealing with user issues by following up until resolution is achieved.
• Escalate complex calls promptly to relevant infrastructure departments or external technical support partners when necessary.

What You'll Need

• More than 3 years' experience in L1/L2 Regional Support, ability to support via helpdesk and onsite users.
• Experience in Office365/Microsoft 365, Windows Operating Systems, mobile devices and network connectivity.
• Experience with trading application such as Bloomberg would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to support VVIP, trading and back office users on their day-to-day IT support needs.
• Proficiency with helpdesk ticketing systems to support efficient incident tracking and resolution workflows.
