Application Production Specialist - Digital FX / eFX

About the Role

• Support incident, problem, and production management activities, ensuring platform stability, resilience, and adherence to service quality standards.
• Deliver application support and application management services, while implementing business-driven enhancements and continuous improvements.
• Perform proactive system health checks and monitoring ahead of APAC market open, enabling early issue detection and minimizing business impact.
• Act as a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), driving automation, reducing operational toil, enhancing observability, and implementing strategic reliability initiatives.
• Partner closely with platform and infrastructure teams to understand upcoming changes, coordinate deployments, and support release activities, including weekend implementations when required.
• Contribute to the organization's cloud transformation journey, supporting migration, modernization, and cloud-native operational practices.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement through the analysis of recurring incidents, root cause trends, platform performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
• Lead and support regional and global business initiatives by collaborating with front-office stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Work effectively within a hybrid environment, maintaining a strong on-site presence and collaborating with teams in the office at least three days per week.

What We're Looking For

• Possess 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting front-office and electronic trading platforms, with deep understanding of complex trading ecosystems, production environments, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Bring over 5 years of experience working directly with traders and front-office stakeholders, providing high-touch support in fast-paced trading floor environments.
• Strong expertise in supporting Market Data platforms, exchange and venue connectivity, and FIX connectivity, ensuring seamless market access and trading operations.
• Proven experience managing and supporting low-latency electronic trading systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL, with strong development and scripting capabilities to drive automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and production support across both Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern observability and monitoring platforms, including OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Corvil, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos, to enhance system visibility and proactive incident management.
• Exposure to and practical experience with emerging technologies, including Cloud platforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and modern infrastructure technologies.
• Strong understanding of FX and Fixed Income (FI) markets, encompassing pricing, trading, risk management, and products such as FX Spot, Forwards, Options, NDFs, Bonds, and Interest Rate Swaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and business-friendly language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
