Job Description - Archi Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Coordination

  • Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Identify design conflicts and liaise with consultants and contractors for resolution
  • Ensure compliance with project design intent and construction standards

Project Support

  • Monitor progress of architectural works on-site and report deviations
  • Assist in preparing method statements, technical reports, and schedules
  • Support site inspections and quality control activities

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other disciplines
  • Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical input
  • Support senior architectural staff in design optimization and value engineering initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction projects
  • Knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction methods
