Architectural Assistant

We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to assist the architect to convert designs into technical plans for authority submission & tendering and construction purposes, and collaborating with clients and project teams to bring visionary concepts to life. This role requires strong design skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for innovation in architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine architectural concepts and designs based on project requirements.

Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape

Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project constraints and opportunities.

Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and sustainable design solutions.

Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

Co-ordinating the preparation & submission of forms, drawings, and information required by authorities for approval and TOP/CSC, including performing floor area calculations and coloring of submission of drawings

Monitoring of local authorities' submission, update the status of submission and approval status

Keeping records and organizing the filing and retrieval of submission drawings & authorities’ information

Contribute to presentations and client meetings with compelling visual and verbal communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma, Nitec, Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
• Ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical and buildable designs.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities and technical expertise.

• Motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong sense of responsibility

Preferred

• 1–3 years of relevant architectural experience

• Familiarity with Singapore authority submissions and regulations

• Experience in residential projects

• Competency in Sketchup & Autocad
