Job Summary

Support Directors in architectural design and project management by coordinating design development, managing construction phases, and ensuring compliance with local authority codes and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Directors in managing project design, implementation, drafting authority submissions, and stakeholder consultations to ensure project milestones are met
• Develop design concepts and detailed architectural plans to meet client requirements and regulatory standards
• Administer contracts and conduct site visits to monitor project progress and quality
• Lead and participate in Client Consultant Meetings and Technical Coordination Meetings to align project objectives and resolve issues
• Present project designs confidently to clients and facilitate follow-up workshops that are engaging, informative, and conclusive
• Apply knowledge of Singapore local authority codes and regulations to ensure design compliance and smooth approval processes
• Use Autodesk AutoCAD and SketchUp to produce accurate layout plans, detailed drawings, and sections for project documentation and client presentations
• Manage construction phase activities to track progress and coordinate site operations effectively
• Coordinate preparation of forms, drawings, and supporting information required for authority approvals, including floor area calculations and presentation colouring
• Maintain drafting and documentation templates in compliance with office ISO standards to ensure consistency and quality
• Oversee project implementation and site coordination for assigned projects to ensure timely delivery
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director related to architectural design and project management

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design and project management
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and SketchUp for architectural drafting and presentations
• Strong knowledge of Singapore local authority codes and regulations for design compliance
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and authorities
• Familiarity with ISO standards for documentation and quality control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively
