Asia Cash Operations Associate (FXMM Derivatives)

Within Asia Operations , the Cash team is responsible for the processing of cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives. In addition, the team is also in charge of cash management of secondary nostro accounts.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

• The processing and controls of the processes within the Cash function.
• Ensuring that the services delivered to the Azqore clients are most efficiently and productively performed
• Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the processing of cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives transactions.
• Understanding of the core system and process workflow are essential.
• There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant market nuances and demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling.
• Proactively manages and resolves discrepancies, relating to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad
• Participates in Azqore Asia Operations projects, proactively drives and implements process enhancement and improvements, where necessary
• Successful applicant will be part of the Asia Cash Operations function and could be rotated amongst the different processes within the team.

Your core competencies

• Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance
• Up to 3 years of FXMM Derivatives transactions & settlements processing experience.
• Familiar with financial products (FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives, such as various exotic option types, IRS, CCS, OIS and REPO) as well as the market infrastructures, SWIFT message types, regulations and operational risks related to the trade processing and settlement of these products.
• Good knowledge and practice of Office suite. Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in Private Banking and background is a plus.
