Asset Manager Regional Head of Compliance

Our client is a leading global financial services organisation with an established presence across Asia and other key international markets.

They are seeking a highly experienced compliance professional to lead the compliance function for the asset management business regionally.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Lead the compliance team across the region and be responsible for end to end to compliance responsibilities from a leadership and strategic perspective.
2. Main point of contact with the regulators, particularly the MAS.
3. Keep abreast of regulatory developments and advise the business on compliance requirements.
4. Provide leadership to the compliance team to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory compliance, AML requirements and market best practices.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. At least 15 years of compliance experience in the asset management industry.
2. A good understanding of local regulatory requirements pertaining the asset management industry and a wider knowledge of regional regulations will be advantageous.
3. Leadership qualities – experience managing a team before will be a plus
