Our client is a Singapore’s leading distributor for electrical, lighting, control and safety products and accessories. Currently, they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their family.
Job Details
- Salary range: $4000-$5000 (depends on experience)
- Working Hour: Monday to Friday (8am-5.30pm)
- Working Location: Kallang (Central)
- Benefits: Performance Bonus (Twice a year), quarterly incentive, annual profit sharing

Responsibilities
- Report to Manager – Finance & Group Accountant.
- Preparation of consolidation package monthly/quarterly and meeting deadline for Holding Company announcement.
- Review and approved Journal Entries for group.
- Perform analysis management reports of Group monthly.
- Preparation of annual financial report and budget forecast for Group to Management, auditors and Holding Company.
- Review and prepare monthly AR analysis report.
- Review Bank reconciliation and Supplier’s statements monthly.
- Preparation of monthly cash flow statement.
- Credit control on releasing Sales Order and Purchase Order.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, company secretary, tax agent and bankers.
- Review Tax computation
- Assist Manager in implement automation process in Account operation and internal control.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accountancy. Preferable CPA/ACCA qualification.
- Minimum 5 years in accounting experience. Consolidation and Audit experience added advantage.
- Experience in trading environment preferred.
