Assistant Accounting Manager Up to $6,200 + VB Shenton Way

• Position            : Assistant Accounting Manager
• Location            : Shenton Way
• Working hours       : 5 Days/ 9am to 5.30pm for Monday to Friday 
• Salary (commensurate with experience)          : Up to $6,200 + Variable Bonus
• Duration            : Permanent
• Industry            : Freight Forwarding

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and corporate tax reports.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis, generating insightful reports to support strategic business decisions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Audit and Compliance: Liaise with external auditors, manage the annual audit process, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• GST Reporting: Oversee timely and accurate GST submissions.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax regulations.
   

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Possess strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
