Assistant Accounts Manager (Shipmanagement Co./Shenton Way)

• Maintain a complete set of books, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare comprehensive quarterly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements, corporate tax reports.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports to support business decisions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process to ensure compliance.
• Liaise with bankers and oversee head office reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.
• Oversee and manage GST reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax regulations, timely preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to maintain a full set of books.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, both written and verbal.
• Experience in HR and administrative work is an added advantage.
