Assistant Chemist

1 . Manage ISO/IEC 17025 management system and ensure the integrity of the system is maintained.

2. Responsible for writing, issuing of documentation, which describes the laboratories procedures, work instructions including test methods, corrective actions report.

3. Assist in manage all daily laboratory operation activities including testing lead time, incoming testing sample log, equipment calibration and equipment maintenance.

4. Preparation raw data and generating test result.

5. Responsible for training staff in testing / chemical work, control testing and equipment calibration.

6. Maintain and upkeep laboratory facilities, safety and equipment.

7. Approved signatory of ISO/IEC 17025endorsed test reports. Review, authorize, apply decision rule, make conformity statement and report test results.

8. Perform routine chemical testing activities and sample preparation.

9. Responsible for new tests measure uncertainty and method validation and update of measure uncertainty and method validation for existing tests.

10. Assist in method development.

11. Maintain high standards of integrity and discipline in work. Possess effective leadership skill, positive/can do attitude and a role model.

12. Report to Laboratory Manager.
