Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Implementation:
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. 
  • Establish and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework. 
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and develop mitigation plans. 
  • Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities. 

• Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance:
• Extensive experience in the implementation and the maintenance of ISO27001 & ISO27701 compliance measures.
• Building and improving the risk management framework so it works for real-world operations.
• Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals. 
  • Oversee incident response and security operations. 
  • Coordinate with other IT and business teams to ensure security measures are integrated into operational processes.
• Security Operations & Monitoring:
  • Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities. 
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents. 
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations. 
• Technology & Tools:
  • Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and technologies. 
  • Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, EDR.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. 
• Communication & Collaboration:
  • Communicate cybersecurity risks and threats to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address security concerns. 
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Experience: Significant experience in cybersecurity, including experience in security architecture, incident response, and risk management. 
• Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are often preferred. 
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of security technologies, protocols, and best practices. 
• Leadership & Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Knowledge of Relevant Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity laws and regulations.
