  • Review progress and performance of individual programmes and recommend actions for improvement.

Programme Evaluation and Planning

  • Develop compelling value propositions for partners and the community to come on board NHB's initiatives, and regularly reach out to new partners to identify additional resources required.

Mobilisation and Partnership Development

  • Identify, cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with community groups, grassroot leaders and other relevant stakeholders to support HAN and other community outreach initiatives.

  • Develop compelling value propositions for partners and the community to come on board NHB's initiatives, and regularly reach out to new partners to identify additional resources required.

  • Track KPIs of initiatives and monitor partners' engagement levels, providing open channels for feedback to sustain motivation and retention.

  • Work with the central Volunteer Engagement team to develop and implement initiatives to grow and sustain Heritage Champions to encourage active citizenry in NHB’s community outreach initiatives.

Strategy and Team Development

  • Support the Deputy Director for Community Engagement and Outreach in developing community outreach strategies that promote/encourage active citizenry in heritage, so as to build a stronger, more resilient and cohesive Singapore.  This includes the development and implementation of new heritage initiatives, programmes and projects for the community. Foster team excellence and oversee staff professional development.

  • Undertake other ad-hoc initiatives, programmes and projects as assigned by the Deputy Director for Community Engagement and Outreach.

[What we are looking for]

  • Preferably at least 8-10 years of working experience with at least 5 years of experience in community engagement on cultural matters in Singapore with a good network of contacts at the grassroot and community level.

  • Possess excellent partnership development, presentation and project management skills, and can engage with stakeholders from different sectors, in addition to those in the heritage sector.

  • Experience in supervising and leading small teams.

  • Proactive and resourceful, willing to be on the move and to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience on matters relating to government procurement and finance procedures, as well as grant administration, will be an advantage.
