Assistant Director, Projects (Architecture) (3 Years Contract)

Responsibilities

• Be a part of an Iconic Development Design Management Team.
• Manage Design Consultants through appointment into construction.
• Review architecture, interiors, landscape submissions.
• Manage authority compliance and submission process.
• Manage design coordination amongst internal Business Units and Consultants.
• Ensure Project is within budgetary/ user requirements.
• Manage design and submission timelines and schedules.
• Review and correct consultant/ contractor submissions.
• Specialisation in complex construction and buildable, efficient, elegant detailing.
• Manage architecture NSC packages such as façade, ironmongery, stone, glazing, sanitarywares, lighting, signages, etc.
• Conduct internal feasibility studies on space planning and site utilisation.
• Highly knowledgeable on the definition of GFA.
• Highly knowledgeable about sustainable design practices and strategies.

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Architecture
• At least 15 years of professional experience with focus on complex, live-environment A&A
• Experience with Hospitality/ Integrated Resort Architecture, ID and implementation
• Minimum 3 years in developer setting in a Design Manager role
• Have delivered at least 3 complex projects to completion
• BOA registered preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCad/ Revit/ SketchUp software
