Job Description - Assistant HR Manager, Training

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct data analysis on departmental competencies and identify gaps for training needs analysis, aligning with both current and future business requirements.
  • Stay updated on retail market trends to benchmark performance and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder training needs.
  • Work closely with merchandising teams to develop comprehensive training programs covering product knowledge, selling skills, and overall well-being, aligning with marketing and sales strategies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end training process, including conduct stand up training, develop training plans, selecting delivery methods, source and evaluate training providers, gather feedback, and analyze data to measure learning effectiveness.
  • Manage orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Manage the training and development budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Administer training claims applications, training expense approvals, training registration, bond matters and communicate training details to staff members.
  • Craft and maintain employee engagement content on corporate social media platforms.
  • Lead company events and activities such as EXSA, Long Service etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline with WSQ ACTA/ ACLP 
  • At least 5 years’ HR experience in Training & Development
  • Retail experience will be an added advantage
  • Proven training track record 
  • Passionate in training and development with sales-oriented mindset.
  • Competent in content development and implementation with knowledge of various training methodologies
  • Experienced trainer with excellent presentation/facilitation skills and ability
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills, bilingual in both written and spoken to interface with all levels of people internally and externally
  • Meticulous with strong organization and administration skills
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in various social media platform
