Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct data analysis on departmental competencies and identify gaps for training needs analysis, aligning with both current and future business requirements.
Stay updated on retail market trends to benchmark performance and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder training needs.
Work closely with merchandising teams to develop comprehensive training programs covering product knowledge, selling skills, and overall well-being, aligning with marketing and sales strategies.
Oversee the end-to-end training process, including conduct stand up training, develop training plans, selecting delivery methods, source and evaluate training providers, gather feedback, and analyze data to measure learning effectiveness.
Manage orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Manage the training and development budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Administer training claims applications, training expense approvals, training registration, bond matters and communicate training details to staff members.
Craft and maintain employee engagement content on corporate social media platforms.
Lead company events and activities such as EXSA, Long Service etc.
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline with WSQ ACTA/ ACLP
At least 5 years’ HR experience in Training & Development
Retail experience will be an added advantage
Proven training track record
Passionate in training and development with sales-oriented mindset.
Competent in content development and implementation with knowledge of various training methodologies
Experienced trainer with excellent presentation/facilitation skills and ability
Strong comprehension and communication skills, bilingual in both written and spoken to interface with all levels of people internally and externally
Meticulous with strong organization and administration skills
Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
