The client buys and recycles scraps and secondary materials to recover platinum, palladium, rhodium, gold and silver. Committed to building long-term, win-win partnerships with customers globally, they seek qualified candidates to fill the position of an Assistant HR Manager who can support the efficient and effective functioning of HR key areas for Singapore and Malaysia offices, including recruitment, performance management, employee communication & employer branding, learning & development and HR analytics. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment
    • Provide an end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Performance Management
    • Support the performance management process by coaching the Managers in setting performance objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to employees.
    • Assist in identifying performance gaps and developing appropriate interventions to improve employee performance.
    • Maintain accurate performance records and reports for analysis and decision-making.
  • Employee Communication & Employer Branding
    • Facilitate effective communication between management and employees by disseminating important information, policies, and updates.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the employer brand, both internally and externally.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling employer branding content and materials.
    • Manage employer brand presence on social media platforms, job boards, and other relevant channels.
  • Learning & Development
    • Work with department heads to identify staff training needs and provide advice on appropriate learning interventions
    • Ensure all employees document individual development plan (IDP) in the performance management records
    • Coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance employees skills and knowledge, and to support staff in implementing their IDPs
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • HR Analytics
    • Collect, analyse, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to recruitment, performance, engagement, and retention.
    • Generate HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Provide recommendations based on HR analytics to improve HR processes and initiatives.
       

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in HR Management or Business Administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices and legal regulations.

Relevant Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to recruitment, performance management, learning & development and employee communication.
  • Basic Chinese writing/speaking skill (to communicate with their Chinese clients).


 

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Location : Penjuru (2 ways transport from JE)
  • Working Days/Hours :  5 days/9am - 6pm(depending on company opening hours & closing hours)
  • Salary : Up to S$5,500 + bonus (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
