Assistant ID Quantity Surveyor

Job Duties:

• Prepare, review, and manage tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and pricing for tender projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate bids.
• Collaborate closely with the project and design teams to align cost plans with project requirements.
• Prepare bills of quantities, cost breakdowns, and tender clarifications.
• Participate in tender interviews, negotiations, and presentations as required.
• Monitor industry trends, material prices, and market conditions to ensure competitive tendering.
• Ensure all tender processes are completed within deadlines and company standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong track record in tender preparation and submission.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, cost estimation software, and measurement tools.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
