Job Description - Assistant Key Account Manager FMCG Industry Permanent

As the Assistant Manager for the key account team, you will be in charge of managing the important retailer channels of the company.

You will play a key role in helping the business accelerate sales revenue through the retailer channels and space, by establishing close working relationships with the business partners of the account you are in charge of.

The Opportunity

  • Adecco is partnering a famous Japanese beauty brand
  • Opportunity to be part of the sales team in the strategic planning for the business expansion
  • Working Location: Central

The Talent

  • Diplomas or bachelor's degrees in business sales/retail, with prior experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the FMCG industry, ideally in a similar role, is required.
  • Candidates should have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct negotiation with buyers and retailers, as well as a comprehensive understanding of consumer channels, is essential.
  • Candidates should exhibit determination in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical abilities are necessary, along with the capacity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills are imperative, coupled with the ability to discern market trends.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, driven, patient, and possess a positive attitude, contributing effectively as a team player.

The Job

  • In charge of managing and developing selected retailer channel
  • Develop short and mid-term business plans to drive brand growth with retailers
  • Plan and execute sales activities to achieve target sales revenue and growth
  • Analyze and review sales results to evaluate ROI, effectiveness and execution of sales activities
  • Creation and submission of new product listing, promotion, or other relevant forms to retailers when required
  • Build strong customer relationship and long-term partnerships with retailers
  • Negotiate with retailer to match our company objectives with their needs, strategies and opportunities
  • Understand retailers' operational issues and propose solutions to solve within timeline
  • Efficient control of Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budgets, monitoring of productivity/ROI
  • Manage, execute and evaluate trade promotional activities
  • Work with merchandisers to ensure seamless in-store execution and achievement of visibility goals
  • Support negotiation at store level to secure best space whenever needed
  • Supervise and mentor the merchandising team and Beauty advisors, to ensure all in-store activities are rolled out in a timely manner
