The hotel features 304 guestrooms and suites, complemented by a rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre, all-day dining restaurant, bar/lounge, and meeting facilities. JOB SUMMARY

Leads the property’s learning and development function by driving company values, culture, and service excellence through effective training and development initiatives. Partners with the leadership team to identify organizational and associate development needs, design and deliver learning solutions, and ensure training programs support business objectives and performance outcomes. Oversees the implementation of corporate and property-based training programs, evaluates training effectiveness, and supports talent development and succession planning initiatives. In addition, assists with selected Human Resources activities, including recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, associate engagement, and HR compliance, ensuring HR practices support business success and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years' experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, management operations, or a related professional area. Experience in training facilitation is preferred. OR


• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related major; no work experience required.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Learning and Development Programs

• Promotes and facilitates all learning and development programs.


• Coordinates new hire orientation and onboarding programs.


• Identifies training needs and works with department leaders to support associate development.


• Delivers and monitors training programs to ensure alignment with company culture, service standards, and business objectives.


• Evaluates training effectiveness and recommends improvements where needed.


• Supports talent development initiatives and helps drive employee engagement through learning activities.

Supporting Human Resources Operations

• Assists with recruitment and hiring activities, including sourcing and onboarding.


• Supports employee relations initiatives and maintains effective employee communication channels.


• Assists in administering HR programs, policies, and associate activities.


• Maintains employee records and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.


• Supports HR compliance, documentation, and other Human Resources operational needs.
