Our client, a well-known MNC company is looking for candidates for the Assistant Licensing Manager position. 

Job Description
The duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reports to the Senior Manager for Licensing business within Southeast Asia region

Delivering revenue targets for responsible territory(ies)/category(ies)

• Deliver revenue against target
• Have an understanding of consumers including an ability to assess and prioritize key demographic and categories to generate business growth
• Work with Senior Manager to prepare country and category strategy decks and implement the strategies to grow our business
• Perform business development activities; from researching, identify and pitch our business to strategic or regional partners in our region to negotiation and execution of licensing deals
• Engage in deal progressing and after sales service, including account management and building rapport with licensees in the assigned territory(ies)
• Responsible for forecasting and royalty reports of direct licensees and agents
• Review sales reports and other performance data to evaluate licensees’ performance with Senior Manager
• Track the activities of assigned territory(ies) and regular review with Senior Manager and prepare reports to Senior Manager on the respective markets

Guide, assist and manage licensing agents to deliver targets for the region.

• Sharing of strategy decks and align strategies with agents
• Guide agent teams on gap analysis, best practices, country and category strategies
• Train, develop, monitor and manage the performance of the agents’ team members
• Regular business review meetings with licensing agent and key partners on an agreed schedule to monitor and drive business
• Joint pitch to key prospects and key retailers
• Maintain good rapport and provide support to agents

Others

• Relationship management with stakeholders such as agents, licensees and retailers.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, business opportunities, threats and leverage those to develop the territory(ies) and category(ies)
• Work closely with Marketing team to implement marketing strategies for the regional business and to drive our franchise and achieve top of mind recall
• Work closely with Creative team to approve the production plan and monitor the creative process to ensure products are launch timely and good quality merchandise are developed
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Control all expenses within budgets, assigned Marketing budgets

• Diploma or Degree in Business Management or Business-related qualification
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in sales and account management, experience in licensing industry will be an added advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prepare pitch deck and have good presentation skill
• Proficient in Mircosoft applications
• Possess strong spirit of teamwork
• May be required to travel within the region
