Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks, preventive and corrective maintenance on workshop machines, facility, and lifting equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues.

• Follow maintenance schedules and update service records.

• Read and apply mechanical/electrical schematics in troubleshooting.

• Maintain tools, instruments, and housekeeping of work area.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• ITE in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 3 years experience in maintenance/repair of machines and overhead cranes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and safe operation of workshop machinery, lifting equipment, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will assist in performing routine maintenance checks, basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to safety and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily maintenance checks on equipment within the assigned area.
• Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair of workshop machinery and facility equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with the annual machine servicing schedule and checklists.
• Maintain and perform routine checks on lifting equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Update and maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities.
• Utilize and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics as part of troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure proper safekeeping and organization of maintenance tools and measuring instruments.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the maintenance work area through daily housekeeping practices.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisors.

Requirements:

• ITE qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification as deemed sufficient by Management.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the maintenance and repair of machines and overhead cranes, or as deemed sufficient by Management.
