JOB SUMMARY:The Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications supports the development and execution of corporate communications strategies that strengthen the firm’s brand, reputation and stakeholder engagement. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and the communications team to deliver consistent messaging, manage digital platforms, support media relations and coordinate corporate initiatives and events.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Support the development and implementation of corporate communications strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Provide communications counsel and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment of corporate messaging across all channels.
• Oversee the firm’s awards programmes, including managing timelines, submissions and coordination with internal teams.
• Draft, edit and proofread corporate materials such as publications, award submissions, media releases, web articles and electronic direct mailers (EDMs).
• Manage and update the firm’s website, intranet and social media platforms with accurate, engaging and timely content.
• Contribute to the development and production of brand content including corporate videos, marketing collateral and visual assets.
• Support media relations activities, including coordinating media requests and assisting with media coverage opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate key corporate events, ensuring effective planning and execution.
• Guide and support junior team members to ensure smooth delivery of day-to-day communications activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in corporate communications, marketing or public relations, with some supervisory responsibilities.
• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing, presentation and visual communication skills.
• Experience managing digital platforms, public relations and media relations.
• Experience or strong interest in the design, architecture or built environment industry is an advantage.
