Job Description - Assistant Manager / Manager, Contracts Management (2 Years Contract) - Generous Compensation

A Day in the Life

  • Responsible for crafting, evaluating and executing the contracts entered by the Company
  • Maintain records for correspondences and documents in relation to the established contracts and those in progress
  • Communicate and present material information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
  • Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what’s best for the company
  • Solve any contract related problems that may arise with other parties
  • Manage the costing for tender submissions and ROM (Register of Magnitude) for estimation purposes
  • Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the point of contact for the project assigned
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best quotations
  • Review the LOI/LOA/quotations and claims from suppliers
  • Monitor cash flow for awarded projects
  • Prepare progress claims for submission to consultants/clients
  • Attend site valuation with consultantsand prepare costing for variation orders

What we are looking for

  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction and/or commercial projects/retail and corporate office interiors
  • Experience in events/exhibitions/museum/gallery/thematic works projects will be an added advantage
  • Possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
