Assistant Manager / Manager, Finance (1-Year Contract)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional guidance and support to overseas team to ensure financial operations are delivered in accordance with Group financial standards and timelines

• Prepare and/or review monthly Corporate Entity and Country Sub-group consolidation, including management accounts of the subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates, perform financial analysis against budget and forecast on monthly basis and explanation of variances and trends

• Manage Corporate Entity and Sub-group annual budgeting and ad hoc forecasting processes

• Support investment and divestment activities

• Liase with Group Treasury on funding requirements and Fixed Deposit placements for Corporate Entity

• Prepare and/or review Corporate Entity and Country Sub-group quarterly reports and year-end disclosure templates

• Review financial statements prepare by outsourced service providers for Singapore SPVs

• Prepare ECI and income tax computation for Corporate Entity and Singapore SPVs

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors on monthly, quarterly and year end reporting requirements and related deliverables

• Participate in the implementation and enhancement of finance procedures, policies, and systems to support business growth, compliance and scalability

• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA

• At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in listed companies and/or real estate sector

• Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International), SFRS(I)

• Excellent team worker with strong communication, people-management and organisation skills

• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure

• Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint

• Experience with IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Planning Analytics and SAP will be viewed favourably
