Job Description - Assistant Manager / Senior Exec - Compensation and Benefit - Join a Leading Company

We are looking for a strategic Assistant Manager / Senior Exec - Compensation and Benefit to join our knowledgeable team at F&N Foods Pte Ltd in Tuas, West Region.

We are looking for an experienced HRIS practitioner to lead the compensation and benefit function. the immediate task is to ensure successful HRIS system migration. This role reports to the Shared Service function focusing on Rewards and HRIS. The incumbent will be the focal point to ensure the system migration is smooth and successful. In addition, this position will also focus on the review and digitalisation of processes 

This position reports to the Human Capital Manager (based in Malaysia).

This is a single contributor role.

The duties & responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

1) Rewards and Benefits

  • Responsible for the annual cycle of Annual Remuneration exercise for all levels of employees.
  • Working with the Human Capital Business Partners, you will provide the templates, guidelines, timelines and administrative support in ensuring the Annual Remuneration exercise is completed on time.
  • Review Commission Schemes on a periodically basis.
  • Assist the Department Head in reviewing benefits programmes which include but not limited to Transport Allowance, Petrol Card, Shift Allowances, Meal Allowances, Corporate Passes etc.

2) HRIS and Digitalization

  • Lead the system migration and ensure it's smooth and successful. 
  • Hands-on in cleaning up data and codes before and after the migration.
  • To perform duties as Super-User for the Prosoft system, Process Lead for the SAP Success Factor Employee Central and the Time Attendance system
  • Maintain the system set-up (codes, shift patterns, leave schemes etc) and data in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Update employee records in Prosoft
  • Troubleshoot for users.
  • Ensure annual maintenance contract is renewed, and cost-charging to the business units.
  • Upgrade the equipment when necessary.
  • Assist in internal audit and external audit processes on HRIS.
  • Lead in process digitalization projects.

3) C&B operations 

  • Compile documents and monthly listing to inform payroll (Singapore and Malaysia) of the changes during the month.
  • Prepare necessary payroll / manpower / productivity reports on periodical or ad-hoc basis.
  • Ensure the employee data is updated on time with the insurer so that the mobile app is available to new employees use on first day of work.
  • Assist employees in insurance claims (for employees who are not familiar with e-submission)
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of Work Injury and Term Life insurance claim
  • Monthly headcount report and MOM survey reports.
  • Issue Letters of Guarantee as and when required.

5) Special Projects

  • From time to time, you will have the opportunity to be involved in Group-wide / cross-border HR projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from reputable universities.
  • Good knowledge with Employment Acts and other labour laws in Singapore.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience of which minimum 3 years were spent in an established MNC/public listed company. Stable work history.
  • Knowledge in Prosoft is a must. Knowledge in SAP Success Factor is an added advantage.
  • High proficiency in Excel and working knowledge in pivot table is a must.
  • Strong analytical skill and are able to solve problem effectively.
  • Able to function well in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Team player.
  • Candidates with good working knowledge of in FMCG or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
