Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and organised Assistant Manager, Social Media, to join our Attractions Marketing team. This role involves developing and executing social media and content strategies for Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark, closely aligned with our business objectives and audience insights. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our brand presence, engaging with our communities, building relationships with key influencers, creating compelling content, and managing organic and paid social campaigns across current and emerging social media channels and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and implement content strategies, programmes, and campaigns for USS and ACW, in tandem with business objectives and audience insights.
- Act as community manager for both parks, engaging with followers and addressing queries.
- Build and nurture relationships with key influencers, managing the partnership and content production process from end to end.
- Manage the creation and production of engaging online marketing content to drive business success.
- Oversee and optimise paid social campaigns with appointed agency, ensuring they meet the set objectives and deliver maximum ROI.
- Craft compelling content to captivate audiences and convert target customers across current and emerging social media channels and platforms, including writing blog posts that resonate and drive engagement.
- Measure and enhance content performance to inform and refine future marketing campaigns, focusing on set KPIs.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and customer challenges to continuously improve content programming and strategy.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or equivalent.
- 6 - 8 years of experience in digital production, digital publishing, consumer brand, or marketing/communications agency, with specific experience and good track record in building online communities and social media accounts.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content packaging skills for social media and blogs, especially for tourism-related products and channels.
- Strong creative flair, with the ability to transform subject matter into captivating reads and generate interest for the parks.
- A good eye for aesthetics and design sense. Design and photography skills a plus.
- A robust understanding of digital content and social marketing industry trends, tactics, and user behaviour, including content distribution strategies and best practices.
- Proficiency in analysing social media analytics, with an adept understanding of the nuances, advantages, and shortcomings of each platform, and demonstrated expertise in using data to shape campaign strategy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
