Assistant Manager, Student Industry and Alumni Engagement

Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the founding schools of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and impactful research. Today, EEE is one of the largest electrical and electronic engineering schools in the world, with over 130 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 6,000 students, including 3,000 over graduate students.
 
We invite applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Student Industry and Alumni Engagement. The incumbent shall manage all aspects of student life and support for MSc programmes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement student engagement initiatives to enhance MSc students’ participation, sense of belonging, and overall programme experience.

• Plan and deliver student development and well-being programmes addressing personal effectiveness, mental well-being, career readiness, and holistic growth.

• Integrate industry engagement into student development initiatives through industry talks, skills workshops, employer-led sessions, and networking activities to improve graduate employability.

• Develop and execute alumni engagement strategies to strengthen alumni-student connections and foster long-term alumni involvement.

• Facilitate alumni and industry participation in student mentorship, networking, and employability-related initiatives.

• Monitor participation, feedback, and engagement outcomes to evaluate effectiveness of initiatives and inform continuous improvement.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and ad-hoc assignments undertaken by the Programme Office.

    
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in student life and support is preferred.

• Possess strong communication skills and problem-solving skills with good time management.

• Able to handle stress and passionate in assisting students.

• Possess a “can-do” attitude, ability to work fast and independently.

• A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
