Assistant Mechanical Manager (Singaporeans only!/Waste Water/Maintenance)

Responsibilities:

• Create and carry out departmental procedures while making sure that safety rules and guidelines are followed
• Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
• Supervise engineering staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Oversee and plan the day's engineering activities, including performing regular machinery maintenance and inspections.
• Work together with other departments to handle work orders and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Prepare preventative and maintenance schedules
• Identify and address potential issues before they result in equipment failure or downtime
• Manage inventory of maintenance equipment
• Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations and costs
• Keep abreast of advancements in maintenance and repair technologies

Requirements:

• At least Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent
• 3 years of relevant working experience in Chemical Industry
• Strong knowledge of chemical plant management and ESH regulations
