As an Assistant Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conduct spend analysis to support the development of sourcing strategies and annual plans.
• Research and analyze supply market intelligence, including market trends, vendors, products, and commodities.
• Lead procurement cost reduction initiatives within the company.
• Support the creation and implementation of Group Procurement strategies, policies, and initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of procurement planning processes.
• Lead and manage procurement activities.
• Analyze past and future demand volumes, inventory trends, and current inventory levels.
• Conduct supplier assessments and due diligence: Evaluate the ethical, social, and environmental compliance of current and potential suppliers, identifying risks and areas for improvement, and collaborating with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance: Develop and use metrics and KPIs to assess supplier performance in responsible sourcing, providing feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Engage stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, legal, sustainability, and operations to integrate responsible sourcing practices into procurement processes.
• Provide training and raise awareness: Organize training sessions to educate employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders on responsible sourcing practices and promote understanding across the organization.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
