The role involves driving operational excellence, strategic procurement initiatives, and process improvements while managing sourcing and supplier relationships. Key responsibilities include:

• Operations: Lead procurement digitization, automation, and cost-reduction initiatives; conduct tenders per standards; collaborate with stakeholders to oversee spending activities; monitor industry trends; manage supplier performance and develop risk mitigation plans; and analyze demand and inventory trends to support effective planning.
• Strategic Initiatives: Perform spend analysis, research supply market trends, drive cost-reduction strategies, support Group Procurement policies, and ensure divisional SOP compliance with Group Procurement standards.
• Sourcing: Audit and monitor supplier compliance with ethical and environmental standards, evaluate supplier performance, embed responsible sourcing practices, provide training, report on performance metrics, and continuously enhance sourcing strategies through best practices and technology.
• Business Process Analysis: Identify system gaps and recommend improvements, oversee user roles and access permissions, and lead projects to implement procurement technology enhancements and automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and above in any discipline
• Min 8 years of procurement experience in handling government projects
• Experience in managing a team
• Procurement Professional Certification would be advantageous
