Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical Manufacturing 
• Position Title: Leader (Production) / Assistant Production Manager
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.15 AM – 5 PM / 9.15 AM – 6 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $5,500 + AWS + Bonus + Flexible Benefits
• Duration: Permanent 

Key Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of plant machinery and systems across all facilities, ensuring they are operational and well-maintained for effective production.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance and Technology departments to solve any issues with production quality, processes, or equipment.
• Educate and guide Senior Supervisors on maintaining the plant's working condition, focusing on safety, quality, and minimizing waste.
• Track and manage the use of raw materials and production to maximize efficiency and reduce excess use.
• Create detailed operating instructions for staff for each shift that covers starting, stopping, and any operational changes needed for tests, projects, or maintenance.
• Be informed about our management systems and relevant certifications like ISO and ITAF, perform corrective measures if necessary, and ensure department adherence.
• Direct studies and test new products and materials, conducting analyses that lead to process improvements.
• Support other departments with any extra tasks as needed.

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership and/or supervisory experience 
• Effectively communicate information with courtesy and clarity to employees of the organization and occasionally, customers or clients
