Job Description - Assistant Project Manager - Innovative Company

We are looking for a capable Assistant Project Manager to join our amazing team at Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited in Sungei Kadut, North Region.

  • Assist Deputy Director to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives​;​
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, and deployment management activities​;​
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence​;​
  • ​Liaise with the project team, site staff and contractors to conduct regular site meetings and inspections for a project progress update and monitoring of quality​;​
  • ​Liaise with the relevant authorities to meet permits and licensing requirements;​​
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project​;​
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes​;​
  • Monitor staff performance and complete performance views​;​
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership​;​
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders​;​
  • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards​;​
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.

 

Qualification

 

  • ​Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
  • ​Minimum ​1​ year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
  • Those with experience in underground utilities especially water/gas pipes will be advantageous
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills​
  • ​​Service-oriented client relationship and people
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

 

Other Information

 

  • ​6 days work week
  • Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license
