Assistant Tax Manager (Accounting Firm/ CBD/ $6,000) (ID: 603188) - Urgent

Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Assistant Tax Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Corporate Taxation               
  • Support clients on taxation services as follows:  
    • Analyze Financial Statements & GL to identify strategies to minimize client’s tax costs, ensure tax compliance and accurate tax filing 
    • Preparation of corporate tax computations for clients from various industries 
    • Preparation of ECI and Form C/C-S and the filings to IRAS  
    • Preparation and filings of withholding taxes to IRAS  
    • Preparation of application of COR for DTA  
    • Research on various tax matters  
    • Any other ad hoc works related to corporate tax  
• Individual Taxation services               
  • Prepare the computation of clients’ individual taxes, preparation of IR8A and IR21 tax clearance 
  • Responsible for the e-filing of tax return to IRAS  
  • Preparation of AIS data  
• Supervisory role 
  • Coach and provide guidance to Senior / Tax Associates and Tax Interns 
  • Review tax computations and tax related work prepared by Senior / Tax Associates and/or Tax Interns to ensure accuracy and timely submission 
• Handle tax inquiries and audit from IRAS        
• Responsible for the transfer pricing documentations / projects                
• Assist Managers for any other tax related engagements and/or projects as assigned           
• Provide tax advisory services to clients 
• Administrative functions of tax assignments  

Requirements: 

• Candidates must possess a Degree, preferably in an accounting/business/tax-related field. 
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Singapore Corporate & Individual tax compliance, with coaching / supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge in Singapore Tax system and rules 
• ATP / ATA holders are advantageous.
• Those with prior experience in professional service firm is advantageous 
• Meticulous, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines 
• Self-motivated, independent with good communication skills 
• Detailed and customer-service oriented 
• Good team player
