Job Description - Assistant Training Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Assistant Training Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees are well-trained, equipped with the necessary skills and consistently delivering exceptional service standards as well as promoting a culture of continuous learning within the organization. You have a full understanding of the various business units and their specific training requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and execute Company’s current comprehensive training programs and sessions for all Outlet, Processing and Central Kitchen employees to enhance their skills, focusing on areas such as service standards and job specific skills
  • Create and update training materials, manuals and visual aids to support the training programs including SCORM-compliant digital learning content and performing courseware testing in LMS
  • Keep training materials updated to reflect industry trends, company policies and service standards
  • Work closely with Operations and HR Manager to address performance gaps and develop action plans for improvement
  • Identify training needs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms
  • Monitor and evaluate service quality through audits and feedback
  • Preparation, compilation and analysis of Monthly Reports (not limited to Training Program Effectiveness Report, Training Completion Report, Training Attendance and Participation Report, Employee Training Feedback and Satisfaction Report, Post-Training Assessment Report etc)
  • Any other duties as assigned by HR Manager

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with 5-7 years of relevant experience in an ATO approved organisation and ACTA certified
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business priorities/challenges to strategic learning initiatives
  • Strong team player with the interpersonal skills to influence and interact well with stakeholders
  • Constantly updating latest training trends, changes in learning theory and developments in learning technologies
  • Assertive and proactive with a mindset of resolving problems independently in the face of ambiguity
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
  • Tech savvy, interest in training tools and technology
