Assistant Vice President, Account & Loan Operations

Job Description

1. Manage the daily routine operations in an efficient manner, while delivering good quality services to internal and external customers (including but not limited to account opening process, new account set-up, deals executions, complete client’s banking instructions, account maintenance, day-end order reconciliation in system, etc.
2. To review and approve investment related transactions in relevant system in accordance to MAS regulations and internal guidance.
3. Ensure that operational processes while collaborating with front office in HK and SG, and other business units are in full compliance with the Bank’s policy and regulatory requirements.
4. Check and perform authorization relating to fixed deposits, loan, investment products transactions, etc.
5. Check and perform authorization of account operation-related transactions in accordance to internal procedures and external regulatory guidelines.
6. Work closely with HO’s counterparts to ensure daily transaction are being processed, settled and to resolve any issues when arise (i.e., using relevant system for Daily reconciliation.
7. Lead &/or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UATs) and system testing.
8. Familiar with the end-to-end flow of product life cycle such as time deposits, investment products, account operations, etc.
9. Perform any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
10. Ensure transactions related security documents are duly executed and in order for implementation
11. Familiar for Private Banking products (including but not limited to Premium Financing, Lombard Loan, Time Deposits, Unit Trust, Structured notes, etc.)
12. To supervise Loan Agency, Loan Administration and Account Ops functions
13. To be the Deputy of Account and Loan Operations Head
14. To improve processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness of the team,
15. To review procedure manual annually

AML/CTF Responsibilities

1. Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Qualifications

1.Education Qualification

1. Diploma holder or Bachelor Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines is preferred

2.Working Experiences

1. Minimum 10 years’ experience in account opening/operations, KYC procedures, corporate loan, time deposits and credit documentation/administration.
2. Working knowledge of Avaloq system is an added advantage
3. Exposure in PB product is an added advantage.
