Description
Corporate Development & Strategy
Support the evaluation and execution of M&A, minority investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships within FIG and fintech sectors.
Prepare investment proposals, business cases, and internal approval materials.
Financial Analysis & Valuation
Build and maintain financial models, including valuation, scenario analysis, and return assessments.
Analyse target company financials, unit economics, growth drivers, and risk factors.
Perform benchmarking against public comparables and precedent transactions.
Transaction Execution
Support due diligence processes across commercial, financial, operational, and regulatory workstreams.
Coordinate with external advisors including investment banks, legal counsel, consultants, and auditors.
Assist in transaction documentation, deal structuring, and execution milestones.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with internal business units to assess strategic fit and integration considerations.
Participate in discussions with founders, management teams, and financial sponsors.
Support post-transaction integration planning where required.
Market & Industry Research
Monitor trends in financial services andfintech innovation, including:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
Investment banking (FIG coverage preferred)
Corporate development
Private equity / venture capital
Strategy consulting
Fintech or financial services strategy roles
Strong exposure to financial institutions or fintech ecosystems is highly preferred.
