Overview of Division/Department The role sits within the Compliance Section, and reports to the Section Head of Compliance. We are seeking a highly motivated member to join the Business Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality compliance advisory to various Business Units across the Bank, including Front Offices and Support Functions. You will also support the team lead in monitoring and preparing periodic reports to the Bank's Management, Head Office and Regulators, on areas of compliance risk and controls. Your responsibilities are to ensure the Bank and respective Business Units, adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities On a day to day basis, you will be expected to:
- Advise Business Units on compliance related matters;
- Be a subject matter expert eg, Conflict of Interest, Handling of Inside Information;
- Keep abreast of, and implement (where necessary) new regulatory changes and industry practices;
- Communicate with Head Office, local regulators and internal and external audits;
- Assist in the enhancement of compliance framework and structure, including developing compliance training program;
- Ensure prompt escalation of issues and concerns to Team Lead and Section Head in an appropriate manner;
- Assist with daily BAU work including, but not limited to, clearing personal trading applications, registration of insider information;
- Support/drive change initiatives within the compliance team.
Job Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 2-3 years of financial sector experience, with at least 1 year in related roles.
- Able to work meticulously and be able to exercise judgement between work independently to meeting tight deadlines, and being a team player when the situation calls upon.
- Possess strong stakeholder management skills; effective writing and comprehension skills.
