Associate Director

• Be responsible for leading a sub-team under the Transaction Advisory Services unit, focused on, but not limited to:

1. Merger & Acquisition services; and
2. Transaction advisory and support services

• Lead a team of staff in delivering investor search, transaction advisory and/or support engagements and will be required to monitor project timelines and deliver high quality deliverables and service to clients.
• Take the lead on projects on engagements which are initiated and originated by you. You shall be the primary contact point for clients and/ or their legal advisors.
• Build strong and sustained relationships with clients and centres of influence (e.g. lawyers, sponsors, SID) and be able to provide advice as a trusted advisor using your skills, experience and understanding of transactions to the advantage of your clients.
• Coach your team members and assist in motivating and developing them as trusted advisors to our clients.
• Enhance the market presence, reputation and credibility of the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice of the Firm through the contribution of thought leadership, conducting talks and seminars and participating in committees relevant to the areas set out above.
• You will be required to work with the respective teams to improve current processes and quality of deliverables relevant to your areas of expertise.
• Work with our Advisory teams in Hong Kong, the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”) and/or other RSM member firms on cross-border engagements.
• Work with the China Practice Group of the Firm and Head of China Business in business development activities

Requirements:

• Proven track record in Transaction Advisory Services, M&A, and Litigation Valuation.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and complex projects.
• Excellent relationship-building and business development capabilities.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and deliver strategic insights to clients.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in cross-border transactions and collaboration with international teams is an advantage.
