Job Description - Associate Director, Cross Segment Marketing

Job title \u2013 Associate Director, Cross Segment Marketing APAC\n\nLocation \u2013 Singapore\n\nThe Associate Director, Cross Segment Marketing, APAC drives growth of the Health, Nutrition \u0026 Care (HNC) business through customer-centric, science-backed solutions, leading technical business development, marketing communications, and digital transformation across key segments including dietary supplements, early life nutrition, medical nutrition, and pharma solutions. As part of the Regional Marketing and Business Development team, the role supports revenue growth in APAC by driving project conversion, developing strong value propositions and executing impactful marketing communications, while collaborating across regional and global teams to align business priorities, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.\n\nAt dsm-firmenich, being a force for good is not optional. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. \n\nYour key responsibilities\n\n * Lead the marketing communications strategy for APAC and define key priorities by subregion and segments to elevate dsm-firmenich\u2019s brand position through targeted campaigns, Trademark Licensing Agreement management, and support the APAC organization in key tradeshows and conferences, customer innovations workshops while ensuring regional relevance and adherence to global guidelines and brand tonality\n * Collaborate with regional marketing teams and segment leads to optimize resource allocation, generate new opportunities, drive lead generation, and manage overall regional marketing budget\n * Expand growth opportunities by translating insights into action, establishing a center of intelligence in APAC through strong data management and analytics\n * Support go-to-market objectives and accelerate business transformation through optimizing and developing best-in-class digital solutions (including CRM) and tools to meet customers\u2019 \u0026 business needs in APAC\n * Lead and manage Technical Business Development team to proactively identify and grow business opportunities aligned with product strategy\n * Identify and crystallize customer pain points and translate them into technical-led solutions by engaging directly with customers alongside Account Managers, creating differentiated, science\u2011backed value propositions that drive project conversion\n\n\n\nWe bring\n\n * Empowerment to make meaningful contributions while upholding ethical standards.\n * Recognition and celebration of your efforts and accomplishments.\n * Opportunity to build a career making a significant impact on billions of lives, with the freedom to shape your own path.\n * Dedication to creating better futures for customers, communities, people, and the planet.\n * Responsibility and accountability in living company values and driving sustainable solutions.\n * Supportive environment where individuals are empowered to progress and contribute to meaningful change. \n\n\n\nYou bring\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing or business\n * Minimum 12-15 years of experience in B2B and/or B2C business management and marketing communications\n * Experience in B2B specialty chemicals, particularly within the human nutrition and health industry, will be an advantage\n * Expertise in designing and leveraging consumer insights and digital tools to support business strategy, drive customer engagement, and identify growth accelerators\n * Demonstrated capability in driving digital transformation and leveraging data analytics for customer engagement\n * Proven track record in planning, implementing, and managing strategic communication plans across multiple countries in Asia Pacific and/or globally\n\n\n\nEqual opportunities commitment\n\ndsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
