Job Description - Associate, Domestic Payment & Services Generalist, CBGO, Group COO

Business Function

Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities
  1. Operational Processing
  • Execute business operations in line with SOPs, service-level timeliness, and quality standard.
  • Support onboarding and servicing for GIRO applications, Standing Instruction, Credit Card and Cashline products
  • Maintain documentation, audit trails, and reporting records for compliance
  1. Process Optimisation & GenAI Adoption
  • Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks using GenAI or workflow enhancement
  • Participate in process re-engineering initiatives to streamline steps, update SOPs, and enhance overall operational productivity
  • Contribute to projects enhancing GIRO systems, focusing on GenAI and automation integration
  1. Risk & Compliance
  • Adhere to operational controls, risk standards and data privacy requirement
  • Support investigations, audits and compliance check
  • Escalate unusual activities or potential breaches
  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to resolve issues, gather requirements
  • Communicate changes effectively and provide timely updates on processing status and exceptions
5. User Acceptance Testing & Live Verification
  • Plan, coordinate and execute UAT and LV for new feature, system upgrade and process changes
Requirements
  • Min 4 years of relevant Banking Operations experience and familiar with workflow tools
  • Able to work under tight pressure and schedules and SLA driven task
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous
