Key Job Accountabilities (Actual daily deliverables):
On line support to machine troubleshooting.
- Immediate machine failure troubleshooting and repair, handler conversion & setup capabilities, setup yield monitoring, machine UPH accountabilities.
Responsible for Housekeeping, spares and other logistical property control.
- Consistent maintain on a system to improve setup tidiness, cleanness, proper tools inventory and ownership practice.
Ensure handler performance optimization.
- To ensure maximization of plunger / index arm, pick & place arm, speed control to reach maximum utilization & handler UPH efficiency as well as setup performance.
Ensure effective OCAP execution to sustain setup performance
- Ability to perform effective line OCAP, apply systematically socket & load board ocap execution.
- Ensure do escalation on tester repair after load board ocap done but problem persisted
- Ensure do escalation on handler if jam rate occurrence more than 6 times/day
- Do Socket Monitoring Dashboard monitoring on socket insertion lifespan reached limit & replace socket immediately
- Ensure setup time & unscheduled downtimes meet KPI based on Mean time to repair (MTTR) & Waiting time (WT)
- Do shift handover & communication with incoming/outgoing for outstanding issue follow up continuation
Scope of the Job:
- Maintain good performance & uptime of machines on the floor.
- Ensure effective OCAP execution & compliance to sustain setup performance. ( Site to site yield & OEE performance )
- To be multi skilled for the various range of handlers vs platform used in the Test floor.
- Capability in managing multiple tasks assigned concurrently & efficient.
- Sharing of handler troubleshooting skill & buddy for OJT program
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Preferably experienced in machine knowledge (Teradyne, agilent, handler).
- Requires knowledge in electronics and mechanical principles and through understanding of Final Testing ATE machine & technology is an advantage.
- Requires through knowledge of practical applications of concepts, procedures and guidelines to solve extremely complex problems
- Meticulous, independent, analytical and possess good / positive interpersonal skill. Must be a team player and hard working.
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent (E3)
- Minimum Higher NITEC / NITEC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent with minimum of 5 years experience in Final Test Line Support operation is an advantage.
