Job Responsibilities This role supports the FCR department in both the SEIBI 2.0 project initiatives and the ongoing BAU operations.
Project Support - Assist in financial data gathering and validation.
- Support impact analysis on financial reporting, accounting treatment and regulatory implications.
- Assist in documenting as-is vs to-be processes.
- Support UAT preparation and reconciliation testing where required.
- Liaise with project stakeholders to gather inputs.
BAU Operations & Controls - Prepare/ review irregular accounts, back valuation and other operational reports.
- Prepare daily/month-end nostro and other reconciliations. Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely manner.
- Support month-end closing activities including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare year-end schedules and supporting documentation.
Systems & Processes - Perform GBASE operations as required.
- Automation and enhancement of reporting processes.
- Support embedding project enhancements into BAU.
Others - Any other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Section Head.
Job Requirements - Bachelor degree in Accountancy and/or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel with strong IT skills will be an added advantage
