Get to Know the Team

As part of Singapore Operations, the Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchant-partners, advocating for solutions that enhance their experience and success on Grab. We work closely with business verticals (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabPay, OmniCommerce), as well as product, finance, and legal teams to drive strategic initiatives that create meaningful impact. Our role is to ensure that hyperlocal nuances are integrated into platform experiences, optimizing both merchant and consumer journeys while supporting Singapore’s business growth and cost-efficiency goals.

Get to Know the Role

This role ensures a seamless, secure, and efficient payment experience for merchant-partners on Grab’s platforms. You will be responsible for optimizing merchant payment tools, driving GTM strategies, and designing payment frameworks that support business growth while balancing compliance, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

This role will report to the Manager, Merchant Operations and be onsite at Singapore Grab office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Own and manage payment policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations while maximizing cost efficiency and optimizing policy outcomes.
• Support business initiatives by designing and implementing end-to-end workflows, policies, and support solutions
• Oversee country GTM for business and product initiatives, ensuring local requirements are integrated to drive adoption.
• Enhance platform experience & governance by continuously monitoring and optimizing merchant and consumer interactions.
• Drive process improvements in collaboration with process, product, and business teams to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot payment issues and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Support teams on resolution
  
   

Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of 3 years in operations, payments, analytics, or project/program management, preferably in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments
• Strong critical and logical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions
• Proven ability to manage diverse projects efficiently through comprehensive planning and execution
• Skilled in developing frameworks and policies, as well as planning new initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objective
