Associate Product Controller

Our client is a well-established International Bank who have operations across Retail, Wholesale and Asset Management, who have a strong presence in Singapore. They are looking for Product Controller to join their Global Middle Office team.

This role will look after a number of products, both vanilla and structured products, working closely with Front Office and other business functions to provide P&L support, as well as advisory and value-add to key stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for P&L control and governance across a number of entities (including Treasury, Emerging Markets, FX)
• Take ownership of calculating, verifying and reporting of daily revenue to key internal stakeholders
• Month-end procedures including Balance Sheet substantiation
• Interact with key internal stakeholders to resolve queries on booking, accounting and valuations
• Support cross-regional booking, product initiatives and projects

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Bachelors Degree, ideally in Finance/Accounting or Economics
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Product Control/Market Risk in a Financial Services environment. Candidates straight from a BIG 4 audit firm with experience in financial services companies (Investment banking/ Capital Markets) shall be considered.
• Treasury & Fixed Income knowledge is preferred, as is an understanding of cross-border booking/controls, and FX exposure.
• Knowledge of tools such as Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI would be an advantage but not essential
